Some of the favorite recipes for poultry are described below-

Apple Country Chicken:

To prepare this, you need to collect some essential ingredients which are 1-2 teaspoons curry powder, low-fat sour cream,1 golden delicious chopped apple, 4 ounces sliced mushrooms, 1 and 1/2 pounds skinless boneless chicken thighs, 1 finely chopped onion, 2 tablespoons sliced green onions, 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules, 1 tablespoon normal flour, 2 cups apple juice, and 1 tablespoon lemon juice.

To prepare, this, first you place curry powder in a broad frying pan and stir this over medium heat until it becomes slightly dark in its color. After that, add chopped apple, lemon juice, onion, bullion, 1 1/2 cups apple juice and chopped mushrooms. In another pan boil chicken and rinse the chicken. After boiling, put the chicken into the pan and reduce heat. Cover the pan and simmer the flame until meat near bone is no longer pink. Then, put the chicken to a shallow dish and keep it warm. In a small bowl, add flour and remaining 1/2 cup of apple juice and blend it properly. Gradually, add this sauce into a pan and stir frequently to give it a thick texture. After preparing the sauce, pour it over the chicken. Garnish it with fresh green onions and seasonal sour cream. Serve this over hot rice.

Smoked Barbecued Turkey:

This recipe needs some ingredients such as 10 pounds turkey, 1 tablespoon rosemary, 1/4 cup honey for basting, 1/2 cup salt, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon basil and 1 quart apple juice to taste.

To prepare this delicious dish, you have to keep the entire turkey in brine (Salt water) which is made from sugar, apple juice rosemary, salt and basil for 8 to 12 hours. Remove the turkey from brine and keep it open to dry. After that, keep turkey in the smoker but keep it mind that both the upper and lower cavities must be open to expose the insides to smoke. Keep it for 3 to 3 and1/2 hours. After that, carefully remove turkey from the smoker and cook it in your own process. If you want more smoke flavor in the turkey, you just simply increase the smoking time and the amount of fuel that is used for smoking. You can also apply a mixture of honey and broth while preparing turkey. It will increase the taste of turkey.
