Ingredients for Asian Bar Mix

2 tablespoons of soy sauce
2 tablespoons of heated and unsalted butter
1 cup each of sesame sticks and wasabi peas
1 teaspoon of sugar
½ teaspoon each of unsalted grilled peanuts and raw almonds
½ teaspoon each of kosher salt and Chinese five-spice powder
¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper
1 sheet of nori, sliced into small rectangles

Directions

Make a blend of soy sauce, Chinese five-spice powder, cayenne pepper, sugar, unsalted butter and kosher salt. Add wasabi peas, nori, peanuts, raw almonds and sesame sticks to the admixture and shake well.

Spread the cream mix on a baking pan and heat it at 250 degree Celsius for an hour. Do remember to stir the mixture at least once so that it doesn’t get stuck at the bottom. Remove the baking pan when the nuts are fully simmered and the surface layer is dry. Serve the preparation at room temperature.
